Austin Lee, 2017 Summer Intern:
Austin was born and raised in Walnut Creek California, where he attended Northgate High School. He is entering his senior year as a Student-Athlete at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he is pursuing his Bachelor’s in Business Finance & Accounting. He plays on the baseball team and is a part of the Delta Mu Delta Business Honors Society at ERAU. Austin became interested in finance while learning to invest his own savings, and looks forward to continuing to expand his knowledge on investments and financial advisement at Shone Asset Management.

I’m delighted to be working again for a locally-owned fee-only firm. Client interactions are focusing on meaningful goals and state-of-the-art technology is enhancing the client experience. I’m accepting a broad range of clients at different stages in the wealth cycle. I participated in a fundraiser for The First Tee of Tri-Valley. The First Tee is a program which instills healthy habits and core values through golf.
Griffin provides expertise in investments, financial planning, and portfolio management. Prior to joining Shone Asset Management, he worked as an associate advisor at Waddell & Reed, an advisory firm specializing in financial and investment planning. Griffin holds Series 7 and Series 66 licenses—a background that reinforces the need for ongoing plan review and balance. Griffin gained experience as an intern at Northwestern Mutual in Sacramento; and at Streetwise Reports, a commodities market research firm. A graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo’s Orfalea College of Business, he earned a BS degree in Quantitative Economics concentrated in Financial Management. Griffin is married; in his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities with his beautiful wife, including beach trips and hiking. He’s not one to shy away from competition: he is active in local sports leagues playing baseball and basketball.
